Before any of this, Johnny spent 25 years in public education — fifteen in the classroom, then founder of an alternative program for students on track to drop out, assistant principal, and six years as an elementary school principal. He has led real teams through real seasons of change, and he carries that leadership experience into every room he holds.
His Story
Johnny’s path here was earned the long way. As an educator he became a champion for the underdog — yet as a principal he watched a system label students for their deficiencies rather than their gifts, and felt the cost of outward success that no longer matched his inner truth. With the superintendent’s path open before him, he chose differently: he left after 25 years, and spent the next eight reclaiming his own gifts and learning to express them to the world — through coaching, mediation, Reiki, and writing. That journey is the ground he stands on today. When he sits with a person at a crossroads or a team in a hard season, he has been in both chairs.
